Internship
Sevilla, Spain
I had the fantastic opportunity to complete a semester-long internship with a medical team focused on multiple sclerosis and expand knowledge about the disease to people who may not have access to a doctor. Throughout my time, I worked to take videos with the varying specialists and transform the content into an online course contained in the MS Unit's blog page. For more details regarding my internship, please see my Spanish reflection attached to the right as well as some of the content from the course outlined below.

01
Blog updates
First, I began some minor updates to content on the blog, mainly focusing on the treatments and medications. I created infographics for each medication and included the uses.
02
Video capturing
Next, I worked with the MS Unit at the hospital to capture videos of important information within each specialty such as physical therapy, neurological/ cognitive impacts, diet and nutrition facts, and more!

03
Editing and compilation
Using iMovie, I edited and compiled the videos into a cohesive manner so that it would be a smooth transition for the course.
04
Course Outline
Lastly, I combined everything into a comprehensive course for patients to navigate in around eight weeks using the video and informational content I gathered from the team. The course includes videos, survey questionnaires, and infographics to help inform and empower MS patients to learn more about their illness.
